Ingredients :
2 cups boiled Rice
1/2 cup split horse beans ( urad dal )
1/2 tsp methi (fenugreek) seeds
1/2 cup grated tender Coconut
1/4 cup sugar
Method :
1-Soak boiled rice, urad dal, methi seeds and salt
in water for 2 and 1/2 hours.
2-Drain the excess water and grind coarsely in a
mixer.
3-Now knead a dough and then make small flattened
round shaped pieces.
4-Wet your hands and dip both sides of each piece in
grated coconut.
5-Then steam boil all the pieces (keep in a
container) in a cooker for 5 minutes.
6-After removing them , again dip them in powdered
sugar and they are ready to be munched yummy.
