Ingredients:
Pomfret fish: 2 (300 gram each)
Salt: To taste
Lemon juice: 2 tb
Yogurt: ¾ cup
Egg: 1
Ginger paste: 1 tb
Garlic paste: 1 tb
Carom seeds: ½ ts
Gram flour: 2 tb
Turmeric powder: ½ ts
Garam masala powder: 1 ts
Butter / oil: 2 tb
The Steps:
Preparation :
1) Wash and clean pomfret fish.
2) Make incisions on it and apply salt and lemon
juice.
3) Keep aside for 20 mins.
4) Mix all the other ingredients except butter /
oil.
5) Apply this marinade to the fish and let it stand
for about 1 hr in
the refrigerator.
6) Put the fish on a skewer and cook it in moderate
hot tandoor or
pre-heated oven (180 degree celsius) for about 8 -
10 mins.
7) Baste with butter and cook in tandoor / oven for
another 3 mins.
8) Serve hot with lemon wedges.
