Ingredients:
Large brinjals: 2
Yogurt: 1 cup
Turmeric powder: 1/4 ts
Cumin: 1/2 ts
Chilly powder: 1/4 ts
Black pepper: 1/3 ts
Salt: 1/2 ts
Fresh garlic paste: 1 ts
Oil for frying: 3 tb
The Steps:
Pre - Preparation :
Roast and grind the cumin and black pepper.
Preparation :
1) Slice the brinjal into rondels about 1/5th of an
inch thick.
2) Make a mixture of turmeric, chilly, and half the
salt, rub on
either sides of the sliced brinjal.
3) In a frying pan, fry brinjals until both sides
are golden brown.
4) Set on a paper to drain.
5) Beat yogurt adding salt, black pepper, garlic,
cumin, and two tb
of water.
6) Arrange fried brinjal in a dish and pour yogurt
mixture over it.
7) Make sure brinjals are covered with yogurt.
8) Keep it in the refrigerator for a few hrs and
then serve.
