Ingredients:
Chicken 2 cups cut into medium sized pieces
Onions 2 nos medium size
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Salt 5 gms use as required
Refined oil 3 tbspns
Turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
Red Chillies 3 nos Broken
Black peppercorns 2 tspns
Cumin seeds 1 tspn
Ginger 1 tspn chopped
Garlic 5 flakes chopped
Aniseed 1 tspn
Method:
1.Grind the turmeric, aniseed, red chillies,
pepper corns, cumin, garlic and the ginger to a fine
paste.
2.Chop the onions finely.
3.Cook the chicken with a little salt in a steamer.
Remove when cooked. Keep aside.
4. Heat the oil in a pan and add the chopped onions.
Fry till golden brown over a medium flame.
5. Add the grounded spices, salt , curry leaves and
the cooked chicken. Fry for 5 minutes over a low
flame till the chicken is light brown in color.
6. Serve hot.
