Jaipuri Mewa Rice

Cooking Time : 25 Minutes   
Serves 4

Ingredients:

2 cup basmati rice 
2 cup sugar 
1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter) 
20 blanched almonds 
20 pistachio kernels 
½ tsp. cardamom powder 
¼ tsp. nutmeg 
10 strands of saffron 4 cup milk

Method:

1-Soak saffron in 2 table spoon of milk. Keep aside. Soak rice in water for 2 hours. 
2-Heat Ghee in a pan and add drained rice and milk. Cover the pan. 
3-Cook on slow heat till the rice are cooked. 
4-Add cardamom powder, nutmeg, dry fruit, sugar and saffron powder. 
5-Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Serve as a dessert.
