Ingredients:
Fish 2 cups use any fish
preferably those with less
bones.
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Mustard seeds 1 tspn
Lime juice 1 tspn
Grated coconut 2 tbspns
Salt use as required
Red chilly powder 1 tspn
Coconut oil 1 tbspn
Onions 2 nos finely chopped
Garlic 3 flakes
Ginger 1 tbspn chopped
Tomato sauce 1tbspn
Method:
1. Boil the fish in a sauce pan
with sufficient water.
2. When the fish is cooked
remove from the flame.
3.Cool and shred the fish with
the fingers after discarding the
bones.
4.Grind the garlic and the
ginger to a fine paste. Keep
aside.
5.Heat the oil in a pan.
6. Add the mustard seeds, when
they crackle add the garlic
ginger paste, curry leaves and
the chopped onions and fry for 2
minutes over a medium flame.
7. Add the red chilly powder,
tomato sauce, salt and the
fish.
8. Fry for a few minutes till
the fish is slightly brown in
color.
9. Sprinkle some lemon juice on
top. Remove from the flame.
10. Serve hot garnished with the
grated coconut.
